Terms of use

By using Space Osmosis you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

Information only

Space Osmosis publishes general information about space and astronomy. It isn't travel, safety, scientific or professional advice. Calendars and scores describe averages and calculations, not tonight's sky, so check the weather and the park's own alerts before you travel.

Accuracy

We work from public data and show our method, but we can't promise the site is free of errors or that it's complete or current. The site is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any loss that comes from using it.

Data and photo licences

Datasets and photos keep the licences of their original sources, which are listed on Sources and credits. If you reuse GCAT data through our pages, credit GCAT as its licence requires.

Our content

The text, charts, calculations and design of this site belong to Space Osmosis. You may quote short extracts and share charts with a visible link back to the page they came from. Please ask before copying whole pages or reusing the site's code, layout or logo.

We link to outside sites for reference. We don't control them and aren't responsible for what they say or do.

Trademarks

NASA, ESA, SpaceX, Starlink and other names belong to their owners. Space Osmosis isn't affiliated with them and they haven't endorsed it.

Changes

We may change these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and continued use means you accept the change.
